ABOUT
A store that exists to be measured
Webclat Goods is a demonstration property operated by Webclat, a data engineering studio. The merchandise is fictional, the checkout is simulated, and no payment is ever taken.
Why a shop
Measurement work is hard to show. Describing an event taxonomy in a slide is not the same as watching one fire. A storefront produces the richest, most familiar event stream there is: browse, search, add to cart, check out, purchase. It gives a measurement stack something honest to measure.
What is real
- The event taxonomy, which follows the Segment V2 Ecommerce Spec.
- Runtime schema validation on every event, with the verdict shown per event.
- Region-scoped consent, honoured before anything is dispatched.
- The tracking plan version stamped into every payload.
What is not
- The products. None of them exist.
- The checkout. No card field is rendered anywhere in the flow.
- Any figure presented as a client outcome. There are none on this property.
The tracking plan page shows every event as it happens.
